I realize that there is a ton of
outfitters out there and choosing the right one for you may be overwhelming.
I know that in choosing the wrong outfitter for you ends in an unhappy
client and an unhappy outfitter.
There are several things
you need to consider in choosing the right outfitter for you.
Geographically, where do you want
to hunt? How much can you afford to spend? How long has the outfitter
been in business? How many clients does the outfitter take? What
is his success rate? And most important, exactly what type of hunt
are you looking for?
Do you want a private land based hunt
or do you want a public land hunt? Do you want a cabin or lodge
based hunt? Do you want simply just to shoot an elk off a ranchers
alfalfa field? If you are looking for a guaranteed six point bull
this is not the hunt for you.
We offer a hunt that takes place one
hundred percent on the National Forest. When you leave from hunting
with us you will be able to take pride in the fact you have successfully
harvested an elk that was taken on his conditions and on his turf.
You will not be shooting baited or fenced in animals. You will be
expected to walk in the rugged Colorado Rockies at elevations exceeding
12,000 ft.
If you are looking for a true hunting
experience with great guides, great horses, great camps and great
food, then this is exactly the hunt for you. If you are not willing
to put some effort into hunting this is not the hunt for you. What
